Digital Carnival, a signature program at Cinevolut Digital Carnival, a signature program at Cinevolution, seeks to present accessible, cutting-edge media artworks for #community audiences every year.

For the first time ever, Digital Carnival will be presented as a hybrid festival which features a physical exhibition and an #online media exhibition due to Covid-19.

We'd like to take this chance to say THANK YOU to our staff and volunteers who have contributed their time and talents over the years. Cinevolution simply wouldn't be the same without you!

Digital Carnival 2017's featured artist, Cindy Moc Digital Carnival 2017's featured artist, Cindy Mochizuki @cindy_mochizuki , is an interdisciplinary artist that creates multimedia installations, performances, animations, audio fictions, illustrations, and community-engaged projects. Her work, Compass, "navigates through various stages of her (my) grandmother’s life on a strawberry farm in Walnut Grove before WWII and the internment of Japanese Canadians, to times across the pacific in postwar Japan."

📣 Calling all artists! The People's Commission 📣 Calling all artists! The People's Commission on Basic Income is seeking your testimony. 

👉 Organized by an affinity group consisting of artists and cultural workers via MANO-RAMO (Media Arts Network of Ontario) Advocacy Committee, this commission will convene a series of hearings on Basic Income, to combine the stories of artists and people living in poverty in a form understood by the government.
